I have been happy in a different way today, which I am sure I won't be able to explain in writing. It is a peaceful happiness in which I am truly grateful for blessings in my life (especially Jared and all that he does for me, Corban and the precious, easy baby that he is, and opportunities I have now that I get to stay home- making invitations for the managers and a "thank you" for Heather for taking care of Corban. Things that normally bother me or even cause some negativity inside were not doing that today. I felt a greater love for Jared and for where I am in my life with him. I am able to just love him without feeling nagging feelings over everything he does (I have a tendency to do that). Everything seems to be in place, with progress in the works. I feel that the things I am doing now that I am home and not working so much on Golden Spoon are the right things- definitely working towards being the BEST things. I don't have any guilt about wasting time, which is comforting. Though I do believe this is something that needs to be continually evaluated.
We were able to go to the temple tonight in Newport Beach and Heather watched Corban. It was great to be able to be with Jared in the temple again. I was still distracted in the session as usual, but I shared my gratitude with Heavenly Father in regards to my "happy" feelings.
Roger just signed on his new company of Golden Spoon Franchise. He will now be able to sign on new owners to Golden Spoon under the Franchise company, which is separate from the Licensing company to which we belong. Jeff Barnes is still in charge of the licensing owners, which will gradually be moving over to Franchises after our agreements are up. This makes Roger a rich, successful man.
Just a comment about Corban- he is a very talented nurser. Today he was able to nurse while we were walking! I had in the "Snuggley" (a front baby carrier) and realized he was in the perfect position to nurse. He kept turning his head and acted like he was looking for the nipple, so I went ahead and fed him while we walked. He ate like a CHAMP! This might change my whole world when at home :) Corban might just sit in the "Snuggley" all day.
