Scrapbooking

I am at Heather's house and I am reading her new scrapbook book, named "50 Moments:Scrapbook the pages that Matter Most". I wanted to jot down a few quotes that I have read in this book because they are something that I would use.

"Today you are YOU, that is truer that TRUE. There is no one ALIVE who is YOUER than you."

"It's NICE to be important, but it's more IMPORTANT to be NICE." Anonymous
"BE who you are and SAY what you feel because those who MIND don't matter and those who MATTER don't mind." Dr. Seuss

"It is our CHOICES...that SHOW what we TRULY are, far more than OUR abilities." J.K. Rowling
"I DO not SEEK. I find." Pablo Picasso

Thoughts on HOPES and DREAMS:
Do you know what your hopes and dreams are? What is important to YOU? What do you want to ACCOMPLISH in your life? Who do you wnt to be as a PERSON?
Have you WRITTEN down your goals and POSTED them somewhere so you can see the each DAY? Write them down so you can MAKE them HAPPEN.
Your HOPES and DREAMS don't have to be COMPLEX or impossible to achieve. Even pursuing the SMALLEST dream can add MEANING and INTEREST to your life.
How much time do you SPEND each day NOURISHING your hopes and dreams? In today's busy world, it may SEEM as if there's no free time at all, but is there a PLACE where you can MAKE the trade?
You can do THIS: Give up something to do something else that will change your life.

"EDUCATION is a kind of continuing dialogue." Robert Hutchins
"An EDUCATED man is one who can entertain a NEW idea, ENTERTAIN another "PERSON, and entertain himself." Sidney Wood
"STRIVE for excellence, not PERFECTION." Oprah Winfrey
"Excellence is not a SKILL. It's an ATTITUDE." Ralph Marston
"There are no failures, just EXPERIENCES and your REACTIONS to them." Tom Krause
"You don't CHOOSE your family. They are God's GIFT to you, as YOU are to them." Demond Tutu

THOUGHTS on FAMILY:
Go on a DATE once a week with your SPECIAL someone. It could be a drive in the MOUNTAINS, a movie night or a simple WALK AROUND the block.
Every night at DINNER, as your family MEMBERS to share one thing they've learned that DAY.
Have fun as a FAMILY. Our favorite way to prepare DINNE" We give each family member FIVE dollars at the grocery STOE and let them buy whatever they want. The CHALLENGE is to keep their purchases as SECRET from everyone else until we REVEAL them that evening. The meal might CONSIST of potato chips, pop, beef jerky AND Chicken-in-a-Biscuit crackers. Definitely not NOURISHING, but a whole lot of FUN!

"After all this is OVER, all that will REALLY have mattered is HOW we treated EACH other." Unknown
"A BEST friend is someone who MAKES you LAUGH, even when the jokes AREN"T funny." Kermit the Frog
"Give what you HAVE. To someone ELSE, it may be MORE than YOU'D ever DARE to think." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"To GIVE without any reward or ANY? notice has a SPECIAL quality of its OWN." Anne Morrow Lindbergh
"He who FAILS to plan, PLANS to fail." Anonymous
"Happy people plan ACTIONS, they don't plan RESULTS." Dennis Wholey
"GRATITUDE is not only the greatest of VIRTUES, but the PARENT of all others." Cicero
"Just TELL yourself, Duckie, you're really quite LUCKY." Dr. Seuss
"Always LEAVE enough room in your life to do SOMETHING that MAKES you happy, satisfied or EVEN joyous." Paul Hawken
"HONESTY is the first CHAPTER in the book of WISDOM." Thomas Jefferson
"Love is a GIFT. Don't as for the RECEIPT." Kermit the FROG
"Today was GOOD. Today was FUN. TOMORROW is another one!" Dr. Seuss
"SOMETIMES the questions are COMPLICATED and the ANSWERS are simple." Dr. Seuss
"Simplicity is the ULTIMATE sophistication." Leonardo Da Vinci
"There is no SUBSTITUTE for hard work...GENIUS is ONE percent inspiration and NINETY-NINE percent perspiration." Thomas Alva Edison

That is the summary of the book...at least the quotes.
