Jared's contribution to my hobbies

I was reading Kristie's blog and she had talked about how sweet it was for Patrick to come in and make a card with her so they could spend time together (apparently she is "crafting" a lot so the only way to spend time with her is to join her). This reminded me of my sweet husband, so I thought I should keep this memory.
Shortly after we got married Jared was well aware of my messy hobby, scrap booking. For my first birthday we spent together, married, he bought me a Cricut, electronic die cut machine. Little The image “http://wholesale.provocraft.com/images/products/cricut/product/large/29-0001.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. did I know he would be so encouraging of such an expensive hobby by buying a machine whose cartridges are no less than $50 each, and usually around $60. For Christmas that same year (2007), he then purchased the "Design Studio". This made it possible to do practically everything I want with the Cricut. It took me a while to get it downloaded to a computer it would work on, and when I did, Jared was the first to try it out. Now anytime I have a question or problem, Jared is the first to fix it. There have been multiple times when Jared has actually done the project for me- mostly when it has been for church. Anytime I am trying to think of a cute handout, Jared suggests doing it on the Cricut. What a sweet, creative husband I have!
His support of my hobby doesn't stop there. Our life has had a complete turn around with the arrival of Corban, mainly speaking of my being home 100% more than before, and him being the number 1 in Golden Spoon oversight. This provides more time for me to spend in my creative space. As we have continued with our home remodel, Jared is continually supporting the idea of me having a scrap book space. Originally it was to be in the guest bedroom, but with the changing around of everything, has ended up in our bedroom. I don't know what man would support such an idea if he wasn't completely devoted to his woman.
He will forever joke around about my hobby being girly, messy, and expensive, but I know he loves it and loves me when I am doing it!
He still isn't very interested in the blog, which is becoming a new hobby for me, but every once in a while he will take the time to read what is going on in our lives, and he does encourage me to put pictures on the blog. I think he sometimes surprised of all that he is apart of in this little family of ours.
