The Luckiest

Hey there! So I am the luckiest guy in the world. I have the coolest, most beautiful wife! Two amazing and cute little kids! And to top it all, they love me and I love them. Here are a couple of recent looks.

This is Malia in the morning, this and a lot of smiling. I just liked this one.

This is what Corban looked like when I checkid in on him during his nap this evening. gotta love it!

If you haven't heard the song, the luckiest by Ben Folds you have to check it out. I will try to attach it to a video or something. we'll see how that goes.

Miracles of the Day

3/28/09 Looks like I might share a birthday with my nephew Treston...not for sure yet.
3/20/09 It is a GIRL! Prayers are answered and it is possible for one to get what they want even when we are talking about a baby's gender.
1/03/09- We got through the holidays without giving out our secret. Of course the grandparents know. They kept the secret too!
12/29/08- Our baby is 1!
12/05/08- We did it again! We are pregnant with #2, all natural!
10/22/08- Wow, you would think we have been lacking miracles in our lives. Nope, they are still happening everyday. Today's was that Corban stood all by himself for a few seconds. I don't think he realized what he was doing because he was playing with something.
7/27/08 I got a 3 hour nap! And Corban enjoyed his first bite of Peaches- I think he is going to really like fruits.
7/24/08 I took back more things than I bought. I also spent about 30 minutes reading and studying the scriptures.
7/21/08 I got caught up on the last two weeks, we had FHE and the lesson was on Miracles, and Jared has gone to sleep before me!
6/28/09 Jared has finished ANOTHER Free Day. Can't wait to see the success!
6/14/2008 Jared slept 4 1/2 hours for his Sunday afternoon nap!
6/13/2008 We successfully disorganized the guest bedroom, but also put up the base boards.
6/12/08 Corban rolled over both ways- belly to back/back to belly. The incline at the beach may have been the miracle worker.
6/11/08 Jared came home at 9:30 pm and we actually went to bed together-not that early, but I wish.
6/10/08- Corban has slept some 5 hours while I have managed to accomplish nothing significant.

Favorite Things

The Beach- we had an enjoyable time with friends, BBQ-ing on the beach. You don't even have to get in the water to really enjoy it.
Family- I can't wait to see some of both mine and Jared's family this coming week- 4th of July!
Early mornings and late evenings when we are suffering global burning!
Cinnamon Toast- Linzi (sister-in-law) shared the secret to quick cinnamon rolls: add frosting to cinnamon toast. Her figure can handle the recipe.
Running a household- this beats running a business anyday. The rewards are eternal!
General Conference- I love being reminded what I need to be doing to either stay on track, or get back on track.
Reading blogs- the more I do it, the more I get sucked in. Is this what Elder Ballard was cationing against when he said "And don’t allow yourself to be caught up in the time-wasting, mind-numbing things like television soap operas or surfing the Internet." GC, April 08.
Chocolate- only the dark kind. The darker the more favorite!

Lovely new couch to fill my living room
Family photos finally hung on the wall
Jared is out serving his home teaching family after a few hours of sleep due to coming home at 3:30 am
When Corban falls asleep in my arms
Teaching a weights class at 5:45 am every Tuesday and Thursday
A successful business that allows us to give back.
A husband who works long hours to care for the business- from 8 am to 3:30 am the next day is probably the longest!
Corban's BIG blue eyes- they hardly blink
Nick Hollon and his inspired 3000 for the cure run
A husband who would swim through shark infested water to bring me a lemonade
Corban-love him more every minute
Conference Addresses-so much to work on for the next 6 months
Church Callings-make me a better person
Friends with similar interests
